Government Scheme or Grant for First Home Buyer
To help First Home Buyer to get into the property market, the Government has been doing their best by releasing different schemes / grants from time to time. As a result, it is very important for you, as a First Home Buyer, to keep yourself updated via visiting Government official website such as http://www.sro.vic.gov.au/. As 19/07/2021 the following Schemes / grant are available for the people who are eligible:
First Home Loan Deposit Scheme
- Australian Citizen with aged 18 or over
- Never owned a property in AUS before
- Be qualified as First Home Buyer
- Meet income and property price threshold
- Have a deposit of at least 5% in genuine savings

Family Home Guarantee
- Australian Citizen with aged 18 or over
- No current own home (may have owned a property in AUS before)
- Be a single parent with at least one dependant living with you
- Meet income and property price threshold
- Have a deposit of at least 2% in genuine savings

First Home Super Saver Scheme
- Australian Citizen with aged 18 or over
- Never owned a property in AUS before
- No previously had funds released from superannuation under this scheme
- Meet all the eligibility criteria under this scheme
